Dr. Dodson completed his training with the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado-Health Sciences Center (Denver, CO) in June 2006. This 5-year residency program afforded him excellent training through assignments at major tertiary referral centers such as University Hospital, Denver Health (General) Hospital, and the Children’s Hospital. Before residency, he earned his MD from the University of Oklahoma-College of Medicine (Oklahoma City, OK) in May 2001. Prior to that, he obtained his BA in 1996 from the Colorado College (Colorado Springs, CO) with a major in Anthropology. He graduated in 1992 from Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma where most of his family still resides.
About his family
“My wife, Courtney, and I first became interested in relocating to Bozeman after winter skiing trips with my sister and brother-in-law who have lived in Bozeman for the past 4 years. After living in Denver for 5+ years, we were looking for a community with a slower pace and easier access to the mountain sports we both love. Being an avid fly-fisherman/hunter/skier/mountaineer, I welcomed the chance to develop a practice in a locale where I could pursue these interests as well. Our first child, Cate was born in 2006—we look forward to raising our first Montanan!” |
