SERVICES
We provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for the ear, nose and throat. We offer both in-person and telemedicine consultations as well as a second-opinion service called Second Opinion Solutions or SOS. Approximately half of our patient population is pediatric. While the vast majority of our care is office-based, Dr. Dodson performs outpatient surgery twice a week. For more complex patients, Dr. Dodson performs surgery at Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital where he holds active medical staff admission privileges.
RHINOLOGY
We offer office-based and in-OR treatments for a vast array of nasal and sinus conditions.
The more common conditions we treat include: nasal obstruction, deviated septum, turbinate hypertrophy, allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinitis, acute sinusitis, chronic sinusitis, and nasal polyp disease.
We offer both cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty and cutting edge in-office treatments, such as VivAer, RhinAer, and balloon sinus ostial dilation (balloon sinuplasty).
Common in-OR procedures performed every week include: endoscopic septoplasty, endoscopic turbinate reduction or partial resection, and functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) with or without extra-axial image guidance.
More advanced endoscopic sinus surgeries such as revision endoscopic sinus surgery with axillectomy (Carolyn's window), revision endoscopic sinus surgery with Draf IIb, endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR), Draf III or endoscopic modified lothrop frontal sinus surgery (frontal sinus drill out), and endoscopic modified medial maxillectomy are all part of Dr. Dodson’s skill set.
PEDIATRICS
As a parent, Dr. Dodson knows the heartache of having a sick child. Moreover, a child who requires surgery demands the upmost care and attention.
We provide a gentle, non-threatening office environment in which your children will feel safe and secure.
After thorough discussion and joint decision making, if surgery is the chosen pathway, we will do our very best to prepare your family and your child for the experience.
We offer less-invasive techniques, such as intracapsular radiofrequency tonsillectomy, to help your little ones recover more quickly. We are the only practice providing this technique in SW Montana.
Dr. Dodson is a regional expert in the modern treatment of ankyloglossia (tongue tie) and collaborates closely with area orofacial myologists and airway-focused pediatric dentists.
Dr. Dodson enjoys the unique challenges and spontaneity of his pediatric patients, such that he has has made pediatric ENT one of his practice focus areas.

GENERAL ENT
From evaluating hearing loss to in-office digital video strobo-laryngoscopy to treating chronic cough and silent reflux, general ENT encompasses a wide range of patient ages and conditions.
Dr. Dodson has perfected in-office procedures such as adult ear tube placement for eustachian tube dysfunction and intra-tympanic steroid infusions for sudden sensorineural hearing loss.
